Dr Middleton is an owner and a Practice Principal of Ellen Health. Graduating from the University of Western Australia (UWA) in 1980 with internship & residency at Fremantle Hospital, Dr Marcus Middleton then spent a year in the English National Health Service as Senior House Officer in Anaesthesia before returning to the GP in training Programme in WA. After more than 10 years in Geriatric Medicine he returned to General Practice in Fremantle and became one of the founding principals of Ellen Street Family Practice (now Ellen Health) in 2003. Dr Middleton also provides regular assistance at orthopaedic operations and urogynaecology procedures. Dr Middleton is married to most loyal supporter of the Fremantle Dockers and are ‘Empty Nesters’. Having lived in Fremantle since the 1980’s he has Freo in his blood. The Swan River is his second home and he can be seen paddling a club surfski, you might see Dr Middleton commuting around Freo on his bike or enjoying a coffee at ‘Lennie’s’ or a croissant at ‘The Wild Bakery’.
