Leslee graduated from the University of Toronto in 1986 and completed her post-graduated qualifications here in Perth, at Curtin University. She has been a student supervisor on the Master of Manual Therapy course, at the Centre for Musculoskeletal Studies, U.W.A. This has given her experience in treating a variety of musculoskeletal problems including those that are complex and chronic. Leslee has a Post-Graduate Diploma of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and sees patients with all forms of muscle and joint problems and is particularly interested in helping develop specific individual exercise programmes so patients can minimise recurrence of low back and neck pain. In addition to manual therapy techniques, Leslee uses real-time ultrasound to help patients identify the back muscles that have stopped working effectively, and, more importantly, teaches them how to reactivate them.
